The Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro invites you to the promotion of the second edition of the magazine Art Diversion, which will be held on Friday, May 29, starting at 11 a.m., in the park of the Petrović Castle.
The new edition of the magazine brings together authors from Montenegro, the region, and the international art scene, through texts that explore contemporary artistic practices, architecture, performance, engaged art, ecology, literature, and contemporary social phenomena.
The magazine features works and interviews with authors: Alpar Lošonc, Kristina Bojanović, Dr. Svetlana Racanović, Milovan Novaković, Aleksandar Bečanović, Kristina Senić, Maja Smrekar, Maja Stanković, Teodora Nikčević, Maša Vlaović, Maja Dedić, Nikolina Zuber, Dr. Sonja Tomović Šundić, Vesna Vukićević Janković, and Dr. Vladislav Šćepanović.
As emphasized by the editor-in-chief of the magazine, Vuk Vuković, this year’s project of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro is imagined “from xenosolidarity to the museum of the future,” through a space where traditional artistic media, video art, audio recordings, performance, and speculative realism meet, opening questions of new communities, perception, and possible futures.
The editorial team of the magazine consists of Vuk Vuković, Maša Vlaović, and Teodora Nikčević, while the design is signed by Aleksa Tomović.
Through its publishing activity, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro continuously affirms contemporary artistic and theoretical production, creating a space for dialogue between artists, theorists, and the public. The magazine Art Diversion represents an important platform for reflecting on contemporary cultural and social phenomena, as well as for connecting the local scene with regional and international currents of contemporary art.
The second edition of the magazine has been published as a bilingual edition, in Montenegrin and English.
