Gallery: Gallery of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro
Duration: March 24. 2026. – April 30. 2026.
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro announces the opening of the exhibition Oneiric Landscapes on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 PM, at the MSUCG Gallery. The exhibition is curated by Marina Čelebić.
The exhibition brings together works by emerging artists Lidija Martinović, Stefan Bošković, Dušan Đukić, and Marko Dumnić, whose shared artistic dialogue has resulted in a project exploring the motif of the oneiric, or dreamlike, landscape.
The display includes works realized in various media and techniques, including oil and acrylic on canvas, watercolor, pastel, drawing, as well as sculptures in ceramic, metal, stone, and wood. Although they use diverse materials, the artists are connected by a close visual and poetic sensibility expressed through painting, drawing, and sculpture.
The works explore the relationship between figurative and abstract forms, with motifs often linked to emotional and intuitive experiences. The visual spaces constructed by the artists suggest landscapes that exist between reality and imagination.
With the exhibition Oneiric Landscapes, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro continues its practice of supporting and promoting emerging artists.
