Last week, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro welcomed its youngest and most curious audience—children from JPU “Ljubica Popović,” accompanied by their teachers and parents.
During the exhibition tour, we talked about artworks, analyzed techniques and motifs, and explored concepts such as museums, galleries, tapestries, drawings, and sculptures. As they explored the gallery spaces of Petrović Castle and the The House of The King’s Guard, the children learned through play and creative interaction.
Educational activities at the museum have a special goal—to introduce young children to art and the museum space as a place for play, learning, and fun, where they will always want to return.
The workshop was led by Danijela Stjepčević Laušević and Zvjezdana Gvozdenović.
