AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH THE NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION OF MONTENEGRO – NTO AS A RELIABLE PARTNER FOR SUCCESSFUL PROMOTION OF MONTENEGRIN CULTURE AND ART
Today, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the National Tourism Organization (NTO) and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro (MCAM) at the NTO premises. The agreement was signed by the director of NTO, Ana Tripković Marković, and the director of MCAM, PhD Vladislav Šćepanović.
The agreement focuses on the collaboration and promotion of the project “Montenegro Today,” one of the most significant projects that the Museum of Contemporary Art is undertaking this year.
The exhibition is currently being held at five locations in Podgorica: the Petrović Castle, the House of The King’s Guard, the MCAM Gallery, the ULUCG Art Pavilion, and the RTCG Gallery. Over a hundred works by Montenegrin visual artists are on display, and the project is accompanied by a publication featuring this year’s exhibitors. The exhibition is open to the public until September 6, 2024.
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro, as the leading institution for the promotion of contemporary art in Montenegro, has a wealth of experience and numerous successfully realized programs on both domestic and international stages over the past year. This is evidenced by the 2024/25 program, which has brought and continues to bring some of the world’s leading names in contemporary art to Montenegro – including Erro, Kiki Smith, Sam Durant, Laibach, Šejla Kamerić, Yoko Ono, Odile Decq, and many others.
