The Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro is participating in the prestigious international contemporary art fair Art Market Budapest 2025, which will be held from October 16 to 19 in Budapest. As part of this significant event, the Museum will be presented in the central pavilion of the fair with a selection of works by Montenegrin artists, showcasing the contemporary art scene of Montenegro to a wider international audience.

The curators of the exhibition are Anja Marković and Nikolina Zuber, who have carefully selected works by contemporary creators, offering an overview of current trends and explorations in Montenegrin contemporary art.

The Art Market will feature works by the following artists: Tijana Gordić, Radovan Grujić, Biljana Keković, Anastasija Kostić, Nada Kažić, Joveta Ljumović, Nikola Marković, Jelena Pavićević Marković, Suzana Pajović, Velibor Pavićević, Njegoš Marko Petrović, Aleksa Tomović, Vlatka Vujošević, Natalija Đuranović, Denis Ćupić, and Anita Ćulafić.

Founded in 2011, Art Market Budapest is the most important international contemporary art fair in Central and Eastern Europe. It brings together galleries, museums, and artists from over 40 countries across five continents, attracting more than 30,000 visitors annually. The event is recognized as a platform that promotes freshness and innovation on both the European and global art scenes.

By participating in Art Market Budapest 2025, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro continues its mission of promoting Montenegrin contemporary art internationally, affirming the creativity of domestic artists and connecting them with key figures of the global art scene.
