Opening of Naod Zorić s Exhibition at Petrović Castle

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7 PM, an exhibition by renowned Montenegrin artist Naod Zorić will open at Petrović Castle. The exhibition is curated by Natalija Đuranović, who highlights the deep connection between Zorić’s work, collective memory, and Montenegro’s cultural identity.

In his artistic practice, Naod Zorić explores the fusion of past and present through monumental canvases featuring expressive drawings and evocative colors. His paintings function as visual archives, summoning ancestral spirits and revealing layered narratives in which tradition comes to life.

“His figures seem to radiate, as if fire, a kind of electricity, pulses through them, bringing them to life,” notes the exhibition curator.

Through expressive portraits, dramatic scenes, and suggestive motifs, Zorić not only depicts the past but also reinterprets it in the context of the present moment. His art engages audiences on both an intellectual and sensory level, inviting reflection on heritage, identity, and universal human values.

“Naod’s paintings are like memory albums—each brushstroke opens a door to a world of long-told stories,” adds Đuranović.

The exhibition will remain open until March 25, 2025.
