Representatives of the Italian architectural team “A-fact,” winners of the first prize in the International Competition for the Conceptual Architectural Design of the new building of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro, visited the Museum of Contemporary Art in Podgorica.

During their visit, they toured the premises and the preparatory setup of the exhibition by the world-renowned artist Kiki Smith, scheduled to open on Tuesday, November 26, at 7 PM, at Petrović Castle.

The Italian team “A-fact,” composed of Andrea Rossi, Giovanni Sanna, and Pierluigi Turco, received the award for their innovative project, which envisions the preservation of green spaces and the integration of contemporary architecture with the natural surroundings. Their conceptual design, part of a broader urban plan, underscores the significance of the future museum as a cultural and public space in Montenegro.

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro proudly highlights the development of its new building as a landmark project that will set new standards in culture and the arts in the region. Designed through an international competition, this project reflects the museum’s commitment to creating a space that integrates contemporary architecture, cultural heritage, and art, offering citizens and visitors a unique experience.
