As part of the accompanying program of the exhibition Workers’ Club: Between Us, the MCAM Gallery will host Hana Ćurak, a researcher and cultural producer, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Through a lecture and exhibition tour, she will open a discussion on the role of curatorial practices in shaping the culture of remembrance.

How does imagining the future become a key aspect of curatorial work? How does the collapse of institutions create space for new approaches to interpreting the past? These questions will serve as starting points for the discussion ahead.

Hana Ćurak (Sarajevo, 1994) is employed at Humboldt University in Berlin. Her Ph.D. research in anthropology focuses on curatorial collectives and (post)-Yugoslav memory culture. She is the founder of the platform They’re all witches.

The exhibition Workers’ Club: Between Us remains open for visits until February 28, 2025, at the MCAM Gallery.
